OK, some time ago I change a few keyboard shortcuts in Safari so ⌘` changes tabs, ⇧⌘` changes windows, and ⌘D selects the address bar. The problem is, I DON'T REMEMBER HOW I CHANGE IT! I checked the Keyboard Shortcuts in System Preferences, there's nothing for Safari.

As far as I know, I would have used System Preferences, but there's nothing there, now.

Is there some other way to change these that I might have forgotten about? I think I'm losing my mind...

Go to the Keyboard Shortcuts tab of the Keyboard & Mouse preference pane, click the + button to add a new shortcut, and select Safari in the applications pull-down menu. Then type in the name of the menu item you want to create a shortcut for, type the shortcut and you're good to go.

Custom keyboard shortcuts disappear all the time and have done since they were introduced. I don't know what causes it, but I have never managed to get any to stay for more than a day or two. Sometimes they just disappear from the list in System Preferences, but still work, but more often they stop working altogether.

Maybe in 10.6?

They still work just fine, they're just not in the list...
