Updated to 10.4.11 and seems pretty good except that when I try to download an application from anywhere Safari crashes.

Also just noticed that QT has the '?' now in Safari. I deleted QT plugins and reinstalled QT 7.3 but still get the '?'.

I have NO 3rd party hacks and Input Manager folders are empty.

Any idea what the problem may be?

Thanks,

I get the QuickTime "?" occasionally. Reloading works for me. Maybe you're just getting it a lot?

I'm not getting QT at all and reloading the page does not help.

Safari 3 is crashing VERY often for me also.

I got Safari 3 beta while in 10.4 and it was buggy, but now in Tiger Safari is still as buggy.

Often times it freezes or hangs when there are multiple tabs open, and while scrolling.

Problem solved. I used Pacifist to extract a clean copy of Safari from the 10.4.11 Combo Updater. Installed the clean copy and Safari works properly and downloads without any problems.

Must have been a corrupt update from the Combo Updater.
