After loading up my address book in leopard recently, there were a few contacts randomly missing. So, I went to the /library/application support/addressbook/ location and moved the contents to my desktop, reloaded addressbook to a blank addressbook (obviously, i moved the data to my desktop). I did this to see if by restarting it with a new profile, it would clear any bugs. But when I moved the original content I had on my desktop back to the /library/application support/addressbook/ location, my metadata folder is empty. What happened to my contacts from this? If I moved them to the desktop originally, why arent they there when i move them back?
Please help me get my address book back, I had over 300+ contacts.
