am doing my first project in idvd (7.0.1).
am trying to figure it all out.

one question: how can i get rid of the apple icon in menus? anyone know where this icon is stored?

Go to the preferences in iDVD, there's a checkbox for showing the apple icon.

Good luck with your project! Let us know how it goes. I'm on my 2nd myself, its much easier in iLife 08 (b/c I'm by no means a professional at this stuff), and much quicker as well.

funny, here i am thinking how clever i am...and there's an option right there.

anyway, thanks! am editing a video for a tv announcer,but have never done this (or put together a dvd).
