Did a comparison between my 24 inch imac (2.16, 2gb ram, tiger) and my macpro (2.0, 8gb ram, leopard) converting a movie to mp4 with the same settings and latest handbrake. iMac was twice as fast. Not sure why, maybe 64 bit OS running 32 bit program. Any one seeing problems of slower performace with older apps?

I've noticed too, but what's the big deal?

I suspect the next Handbrake update will address Leopard compatibility. I'd suggest waiting until then before drawing too many conclusions.
