Is anyone having this problem? I'm trying to use a picture in the iphoto library as my buddy icon in aim/ym/mercury, but when i try to choose the file, it stops at user/pictures/iphoto library, since iphoto library is not being recognised as a folder anymore, unless you use the 'Get content' option in finder.

does anyone know a way to grab the pictures with other apps aside from copying all my files out of the iphoto library? Thanks.

In the iPhoto app, choose the photo you want and either drag it to the desktop, or use the export command to export it to the desktop. Then choose the file from there.
