I have a Dualie G4 1.42 with dual graphics outputs.. 1600x1200 LCD on each, sys prefs set up to span, so I have a 3200x1200 desktop.

Does any Mac VNC server serve up both monitors?

so far every one I've tried only shows my primary monitor (the one with the apple menu and Dock), such that over VNC I cannot view the windows on the secondary monitor

Yep - the screen sharing app that's built into Leopard shares both screens.

Good to know.. alas I'm still at 10.4.11...

a) so any pre-Leopard way to do this?
b) when I do go to Leopard, can I connect to that (in dual screenmode) using VNC on the remote side?

Thanks,
Mike

As a follow-up, I discovered you only need the ARD client (which is free).....

macosxhints.com - Install and use Apple's free dual-screen VNC server

Cheers,
Mike
