OSX update makes Adobe apps crash all the time

I updated to 10.4.11 to get Safari 3. Ever since, all my Adobe CS1 apps would crash a LOT. Usually when attempting to save, and usually EVERY OTHER TIME. So frequently and consistently that before saving I'd take a screenshot, because I knew it would crash. So, I updated to Adobe CS3. It's still sketchy. I lost 2.5 hours of work today.

Are there known issues with 10.4.11 and Adobe apps?
