Hi,

I hope someone will be able to give me some general help. I had photos in a newly created folder for iphoto. I went to add additional photos to the folder on a different topic, but because I didn't want to forget, I changed the title of the folder to include the category for the new photos. Herons was the first title w/ the matching photos. I then changed the title to read Herons & Snow. I drug snow scene photos to the same folder. Now, the heron photos are gone. Have I permanently deleted them? If not, how do I retrieve them again? TIA

Don't mess with the iPhoto folder.

You *may* have lost the photos, but they should still be in your originals folder.

If I might reiterate: Don't mess with the iPhoto folder. Do ALL of your photo management within the iPhoto interface; keywords, albums, rolls, events, etc.
