Switch Sound File Conversion Software Frequently Asked Questions

Switch basic is free. Switch plus costs. The free version should do what you need but even it is "plus enabled" for the first 14 days.

Are these DRM'd music files?

Edit: Sorry. Didn't see that the same question has already been asked. Still, if the files have any kind of DRM, you're SOL (to use a whole bunch of acronyms). If so, you might be stuck burning them to audio CD on a PC, then reimporting on the Mac.

Digital Rights Management. Copy protection that stops you doing what you want to with your media files.
