Using Apple MAIL. Having sent an e.mail for a photo comp, I had a MAILER DAEMON Failure notice for that email appear in my inbox (twice). I deleted the message only to find when I returned to my inbox that it had reappeared. Regardless of how often I delete or move to junk, it keeps on reappearing in my inbox. Any solutions?

when deleted it goes into the trash, I check the trash and it's in there. Then when I go back to inbox it has reappeared

Try rebuilding the mailbox if this is an IMAP account (as I'm assuming it is). Otherwise, I would suggest trying to delete this same message from another client as a test.

It's worth trying this in another client, it will be reveal whether the problem is account/mailbox related or email client related. OS X Mail is a quirky client.

This original poster didn't say whether this was a POP or IMAP account. Everything I've said assumes we are dealing with IMAP.

Mail is set to delete from server as soon as being received. It is a POP account.
