so i just got a new mac (MBP) and was able to access hotmail for the first few days... but now hotmail suddenly doesn't work... i can get to the login screen etc... but when i try to sign in, it repeatedly tries to load then gives up and i get a message saying "this website isn't part of windows live ID" or something like that. WHAT HAPPENED? I can use messenger, but still can't get to my email.

Try using another browser, like Firefox and see what happens.

Microsoft seems to turn safari compatibility on and off at random times.

Sometimes, I can easily log into my hotmail account and some days it doesn't work. Bizarre.

Another browser is your best bet.
