If anybody has seen Apple's iLife or iWork video tutorials or their business tips of the week, you've seen some pretty good looking screen recording and nice zooming to highlight areas of the screen. I'm trying to figure out how to replicate this. I'm thinking of something like iShowU, but I'm not sure how they do on-the-fly zooms into areas of the screen. Has anybody done this or any ideas on the tool(s) Apple might be using to do this? Do they do full screen recordings and then somehow add the zooms in editing? I'd love to be able to make videos like this (I create online trainings for my company).

Bear in mind: If you buy Snapz Pro in the MacHeist bundle and then buy the next version (since MacHeist's licenses aren't eligible for upgrades), that will cost you more than just buying Snapz Pro and then getting an upgrade when the next version comes out.

According to the forum on the MacHeist site, the licenses for the bundled products are all full licenses this year.

Oh, my mistake. Never mind that then.

We should suggest that they include FCP next year.

Before anyone checks out MacHeist, they should think twice about it.
