I have Leopard 10.5.1 on my Macbook. A page I frequent a lot is the message boards of Hornfans.com. I got my new Macbook last week and have been having all kinds of issues navigating around Hornfans.com. It is a site where you put your username and password, and I have my computer set so it memorizes me. Whenever I click my bookmark for that site, the status bar go to about 25% and stops. It just freezes. I have found the resetting Safari to remove all cookies allows me to immediately go back and surf the site for a while, but then it locks up on me again. Another Safari reset frees it up, but it locks up again. I know it is not a problem with the site because I can gain access with my Windows based HP laptop. Anyone know what could be causing this? I figure I need to change a setting or something. Appreciate any advice.

Use Firefox for Mac and or Camino just to test and see if the problem persists. That way we can rule out an issue with your system.

Just to rule out the obvious: Do you have any Safari-enhancing programs like Saft or Safaristand installed?

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I tried Safari and Opera and the same problems persists. I have not added any Safari related programs to my system.

Are you sure the site is up? I went to the home page and clicked on the message boards button, and I got a 404 -NOT FOUND- error. Everything else is "under construction." Maybe they're sort of messing with the site at the moment?

Hows the weather in Austin lately?
