Can I add a link to a message in Apple's Mail with certain text showing as the clickable link?

The a href tag usually works, but it does nothing. I see the code and the web address is the only clickable part.

And Mail should parse links much like MacNN.

Into a rich text message you're sending, yes.

Select (highlight) the text you want to show as the link
Control click that text
Select "Edit link.." from the contextual menu
Type or paste a URL
