I looked at the configuration of my (apple) Mail application.

For the IMAP account it says "store sent messages in folder".

Well, it doesn't. Not a single message sent from that newly created IMAP account is stored in the sent folder.

What does Mail with my IMAP sent messages? Eat them?

Has it created a local Sent folder?

Where does "local" refer to? To the server, or to my Mac?

In the Mail app there is one sent folder, but it only stores the mail sent by my POP account.

None of the IMAP account.

Should I go to the cPanel of my website and look there? Is that the "local" you were referring to?

Mail doesn't seem to be able to handle two different mail accounts.

It shows up in the app, that I have two accounts.

But when I send mail from the second account, the address of the first is on the address line, which means, mail sends it from its first.

And it still can't store sent messages from the second account (which, as I know, are sent from the first, anyway)
