I tried scanning something today. When Image Capture launches it automatically does a "overview/preview" scan and a snapshot of my picture/document is shown. However, I can't actually scanned the picture/document because the scan button is disabled.
My scanner is a Epson RX500 all-in-one. I am working with Image Capture 4.0 (376) in Mac OS X 10.5.1 on my 1st generation iMac. My scanner is officially supported by Epson under 10.5.
The funny thing is is that it was working a couple of weeks ago (I could scan stuff). I can't think of anything that would affect the scanner. I tried all the basics stuff like repair permissions, re-install the scanner software, etc. but nothing enables the scanner button.
Any thoughts?? Thanks in advance.
