X11 keeps appearing on my dock and using 70% CPU. It seems to be a parent process to a process called "ssh-agent". What does X11 have to do with ssh-agent?

edit: if a mod reads this, please move this to the OS X forum, I seemed to post it in the wrong forum.

EDIT: Actually what I wrote here previously was irrelevant (on second thoughts), so I've deleted it.

'man ssh-agent' will tell you what X11 has to do with ssh-agent, but it's likely that something else altogether is causing X11 to start up. Anything in the "Windows" menu of X11 application?

OK, it seems to launch when I ssh into another system, but it is not needed for ssh. How to I get rid of this blasted thing?

Its definitely ssh-agent, it launches when I try to ssh into something. the man page says its for creating RSA and DSA keys (I assume for password-less login) and it doesn't make any sense why it would launch when I ssh into something. I'm going to try a reboot soon when I get a chance.

edit: reboot didn't fix it.

I'm on my MacBook now (the problem is on my iMac) and ssh-agent is running without X11.
