Does iTunes have to be on the same hard drive as the operating system? Am asking because I purchased a apple tv and my 24 inch iMac has a small hard drive so was think of getting a 1tb external drive and moving itunes to that so I can stream my videos. If you have a better suggestion, please let me know. tnks

You can host your iTunes Library on another drive, just take you current library and copy it onto the external. Then open iTunes and go to iTunes > Preferences... > Advanced and change your iTunes folder location to the folder on the external HD.
