Is there any way to set iChat to open automatically in invisible mode when I start my computer? I've been trying to figure it out for a couple days, but I'm not making any headway. Thanks for any help.

System Preferences> Accounts> Login Items

From there, add and delete to your hearts content and click the checkbox to have it hide.

Thanks, Adam, but I know how to do that much. What I don't know is how to get the program to open in invisible mode.

Ohhh... I thought by invisible you meant "hidden."

Mine opens as invisible if it was set as invisible when I quit. So just set as invisible before quitting.
