when ever i try to open an .exe file my quicktime player opens and says the file isnt a movie so i cant open it.. how do i open this file?

Its a PC program not a movie file.

i no its not a movie file... can i run an exe program on my mac or is that just a pc file.. im trying to open the file and for some reason my quicktime is trying to open it

.exe files are Windows applications. Unless you have something like Virtual PC, Parallels or some other kind of virtual machine installed on your Mac (or you have Boot Camp configured), you cannot do anything with exe files. They're Windows-only applications.

If you have an Intel Mac you can run Windows executable (.exe) applications via WINE.
