How to import Netscape 7.x mail messages etc. into Mail or T-Bird

	Every couple years I post a thread to see if anyone can solve this for me. I have been using Netscape Mail POP for the past 9 years, and must continue to do so until either Mail or Thunderbird can import these. In theory, both are supposed to but both crash! upon the import process. At this point I have close to 5gigs of Mozilla Mail in my folder. Any ideas? Macintel Dual 2.66 Tiger
