Hello all, I have a question that I am sure will get many responses. Which application is better office 2008, or iWorks 2008. I am not an author, just do a bit of document writing, and so forth, do not do any excel, powerpoint, or anything like that but I do want to use the Entourage application. So I guess I will use the Word, and Entourage outta office, and that would be it.

I do not really care for the iCal application, and the iMail applications, so I guess that narrows me down, unless there is an application that is comparable to Entourage that is Mac native.

Thanks

Abdulah

It all boils down to personal preference.

There's no right or wrong answer. I have iWork 08 and I've found the differences between that and MS office to be great, so much so, that I've all but stopped using it and gone back to using ms office. I'm a heavy excel user and I just couldn't unlearn doing things the excel way and do it the numbers way.

Its really what you like and which program allows you to do what you want

Just to throw my vote in: Office. I have iWork, almost *never* use it.
