This morning, was surfing the web, with no problems whatsoever using Safari. I get back from Rambo, and suddenly, Safari is acting incredibly bizarre. The crux of the matter is that whenever I attempt to boot up Safari, it never actually loads up. Within seconds, it indicates that it is not responding, and my only resort is to Force Quite the program. Obviously, this is causing me great consternation, and I am just baffled why, all of a sudden, it is acting this way. Other browsers like Firefox and Camino work just fine, so this seems to be a Safari problem.

What follows are what appear to me to be the relevant portions of the Console logs.

1/27/08 7:10:30 PM mDNSResponder[23] SetupAddr invalid sa_family 0

1/27/08 7:11:31 PM com.apple.launchd[67] ([0x0-0x25025].com.apple.Safari[361]) Exited: Terminated
1/27/08 7:11:40 PM SubmitReport[371] missing kCRProblemReportProblemTypeKey
1/27/08 7:11:41 PM /usr/sbin/ocspd[374] starting
1/27/08 7:11:42 PM SubmitReport[371] Submitted compressed hang report for Safari

Again, I am stumped here folks, and would appreciate any help you could offer.

Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/ and delete com.apple.Safari (a folder).
Then ~/Library/Safari/ and delete LastSession.plist and WebpageIcons.db.

See if that helps.

I checked in both App Support folders, there were no folders containing the info you described. heck, there weren't even any Safari folders.
