Odd problem with fullscreen Quicktime

Today, I've noticed that when I try to play a video in Quicktime, it launches to fullscreen and then goes back to windowed mode with iTunes on top of it. If I close iTunes and then switch QT to fullscreen, QT goes back to windowed mode and iTunes opens. WTF? Any clue?

Hmmm...turns out, my iPod was causing it. As soon as I disconnected my iPod, the problem stopped.
