Is there a way I can use my PayPal account for my iTunes Store account?

I would love it if I could avoid using my credit card, but haven't found any alternatives!

No. iTunes uses your credit card to verify your country of residence.

...Which is a music licensing issue, not Apple trying to pry into your finances or anything else.

I try to avoid PayPal for most things because of their "we're just like a bank but not a bank" attitude. Not regulated like a bank is "not a bank" so why should they behave like one? And have access to so much of my financial information?

For what it's worth, iTunes gift cards work anywhere.

It's either "a bank that's a bank" or "a bank that's not a bank", so why bother?

I just prefer to have one thing and control my finances from there, rather than have a credit card and paypal for online things, a maestro for offline buyings, cash as a backup, etc. Paypal & Cash FTW!

I'm using PayPal for iTunes...

PayPal has my credit card, though, so that might be why.
