When I type an email address in the "To:" field while sending email, the Mail program tries to be smart and auto-fill the recipient's name. Most of the time this is OK, but for some reason it got one of the entries wrong. For example, whenever I type in userx@domain.com, Mail will change it to "userx@domain.com (User Y)". Even if I remove "(User Y)" Mail will stubbornly add it back as song as I move the cursor out of the "To:" field.

How can I stop Mail from doing this? Thanks.

Window->Previous Recipients

Find that person there and delete it.
