iTunes doubleskips in mini mode?

Whenever I have iTunes in mini player mode, Everytime I click the skip button, It skips two songs ahead. I have never had this problem before.

Any help?

QuickTime version?
Mac OSX version?

Maybe the double-click speed in System Prefs is too slow?
