I've been looking around for a list for applications that are known to use 4 or 8 cores well, but I haven't been able to dig one up. Part of the point is to identify apps that don't utilize available resources well that might benefit from distribution of power. Here are a few I found from Barefeats:
- iDVD 6+
- Motion 2+
- Photoshop CS3+
- FCP 5+
Does anyone have a more comprehensive list or have apps they can add to this?
