Hi there,

I have just moved over from PC to Mac (i've bought a new imac) and i am after some software that i can download off the internet, that i can use to download? Anyone have any recommendations?

I'm not entirely clear what you're after. Any Web browser can download stuff.

Jesus Christ, where exactly do you get the impression that he's talking about warez? There isn't a single day that goes by here without somebody getting paranoid about pirates invading the MacNN waters.

To the OP: Congratulations on your purchase, and welcome to the Mac community. There is plenty of high quality freeware and shareware available for your computer, some good sites to find and download it from are versiontracker.com and macupdate.com.

I use google the most, but I use Macupdate for apps when I can't find them in a google search.
