when i first installed Firefox 3 beta 3, it handled all my history fine. however, when i went to go through a routine clear cache, now nothing will cache, no history nothing. I have to manually re-type every URL in by hand without it anticipating what I type, i miss that!

can someone help?

Trash your Firefox prefs, located in ~/Library/Preferences/ and is called org.mozilla.firefox.plist.

~ = your home folder.

If that doesn't work, consider trashing your Firefox profile folder (but back up bookmarks first).

In ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/

Inside you'll see bookmarks.html. Save that file and you can just drop it back in the new profile folder that Firefox will create for you when you start it up and it sees you don't have a profile.

Folders to delete:
hard drive/Library/Mozilla
~/Library/Application Support/Firefox
~/Library/Application Support/Mozilla

Anything named or partially named Firefox in:
~/Library/Preferences/

Plus the application itself, if you want to re-download it.
