i am at the beginners position in the world of computing. i can use them but i can't do anything past download and install.
i have a macbook and an iMac and a dotmac account and have competently 'synced' most everything including contacts, mail and calendar -all of which also appear on my nokia 6500c. both macs run leopard and until the time capsule arrives, i back-up via time machine to WD MyBook that lives at the office.
what i can't seem to do is 'SYNC' a group of folders that i use as my WIP. each folder contains any number and type of files and require frequent updating. is it possible to get these folders to 'SYNC' in the same way email, calendar, contacts etc do? i do not have both computers linked to the MyBook on a regular enough basis to 'BACK-UP' and therefore use as if 'SYNCED'
looking for a solution that will allow me to nominate the particular folders and have them mirrored to reflect the most current -supposedly via dotmac.
