I upgraded to Leopard yesterday and most everything seems to be running quite smoothly. (knock, knock) One thing that has gone wacky is the sound notification in entourage. For a while I had NO sounds (not sent mail, not starting up, not new mail.) Of course I checked preferences; those are as they should be. I tried quitting a couple times -- and actually, that got me back the startup sound and the "sent mail" sound. But still no "new mail" sound, which I actually like.

anyway else have this issue? Hmmm, I just thought -- I should probably repair permissions. I should have done that yesterday , in fact.

any other possibilities welcome.

I have the same problem. Been having it since the 08 beta.

Well, piffle. I really liked that feature. I suppose it doesn't really matter that much; I was just really used to it, and hey! it did what it was supposed to do! It let me know when I had new mail.

On the other hand, I am considering going to Mail and foregoing entourage. (OTOH, I've been considering this for several years now...)
