I am using the copy of Adobe Garamond Pro that ships with CS3 and I cannot get the ligatures to work. When I open the Typography panel in the Fonts panel and select Common and Rare Ligatures, I can start typing letters that would normally change into ligatures and I get nothing. If I select the passage in question and uncheck and then check the boxes again, I can sometimes get the right ligatures to appear, but it seems to be pretty random. In addition, if I get the ligatures to appear, they print properly but Pages doesn't seem to remember them when I close and open the document again. Any ideas?
