i want to know if some other mac.com user have this trouble too and if you knows if microsoft say something about it

You can't get a MSN account with .Mac. What client are you using?

You can use any email address as your MSN Messenger, Windows Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, "whatever name they're going to change it again to" Messenger userid.
I use my .Mac email address as my MSN Messenger account name and I'm experiencing the same problem. It's been going on for about a week now.

It fails on Adium 1.2.1 - 1.2.3, MS Messenger for Mac 6.0.3, Windows Live Messenger for PC, and their web client. This with multiple computers and networks.
This isn't the first time that .Mac account names have been broken by MS. What's interesting is that each time .Mac account names cease working correctly, other non-MS account names continue to work.

Indeed, I'm having no issues with @hotmail addresses, when they eventually sign in.
I wonder what MS do that breaks @mac addresses.

The problem isn't signing in this time. It's sending messages to .Mac account names.

I don't know about anyone else's experience, but MSN Messenger is the most unreliable system I've ever experienced. It is extremely rare for me to ever have a problem with Yahoo IM or AIM. I hate that I have friends that use it and therefore I have to use it to connect with them.

For three days, I've searched and searched and I finally found this forum. I have to say that I am disgusted with Microsoft. At least I'm glad that I'm not the only one affected by this. But this has got to stop. What is Microsoft trying to prove by blocking @mac.com accounts? It's SO FRUSTRATING! No-one on my contact list can send me messages and they just blame me because I have a mac e-mail account. MSN Messenger is the ONLY Microsoft-related thing that I use, only because here in Canada, EVERYONE uses it, which is why I have no choice.
Is there any idea if this will be solved?

Saw that too but, unfortunately, I don't think it's related to this. This problem has been going on since the beginning of last week.
