Why do you need an extra invitation to explain your problem? Just do it.

ok...
First of all, I have a spreadsheet that I would like to sort, however I am unable because I get an error message that says everything must be same size. I also can not format that column the way I would like because it wont let me.
Second, when creating a table in word and attempting to insert a hyperlink, what I get is this: { HYPERLINK } with the link in text form inside the parantheses as well. This only happen in Mac Office by the way, on a PC in word they are links.
Third, I need to import multiple Excel documents with different formatting into a database and have the results be legible and in order. I would like to do this without a lot of manual retyping of the data. Can that be done?
Thanks

1) you can't have merged cells in a column you are trying to sort, that's probably what it means about size. Unmerge all the cells and you should be good.
2) Word: Preferences:View:Field Codes - uncheck it
3) depends on what database you're using (and don't say you're using Excel). Formatting shouldn't be a problem, unless you mean the arrangement of data. I would think the database will let you tell it where matching data is in each import file, but it depends on which you're using, and I don't have much experience there.

1) By "merged cells" do you mean one large spreadsheet that pulls info from many smaller ones?
2) Thank you.
3) Definetely not excel, I am thinking Filemaker 6.0
