I have a long list of video files that i need to convert, and I will be using VIsualHub do to so, and I can't seem to figure out how to get Xgrid setup properly on all of my machines...

I am trying to setup Xgrid with my MacPro running Leopard 10.5.2 as the Controller, and then my PPC G5 (10.4.11) and my Macbook Pro (10.5.2) as agents...

The VisualHub manual states:

VisualHub needs ports 8264-8267 open for file transport. Ports 4111-4120 are used for regular Xgrid Controller/Agent communication
I've done this on my PPC G5, but don't know how to do so on my Leopard machines (considering the Firewall differences between the two OS's...)

Aside from the whole opening of the ports thing, I don't know how to verify whether or not Xgrid is on and working on all of my machines, and that my tasks are being distributed properly? I've tried to get this working with and without the firewall enabled on all of my machines, but I don't know how to even confirm whether or not its working??

Here are my settings in the Advanced settings for Xgrid (as accessible from the 'Sharing' system preference pane once xgrid has been enabled...

Settings For My PPC G5:

Settings for my MacPro & Macbook Pro: (same password as above)

So I have everything set up properly? How to I confirm if Xgrid is working on all of my machines? How do I configure my Firewall in Leopard to permit Xgrid functionality (I am not getting any sort of pop-up request to allow/deny the Xgrid task - as I have 'Set permissions of specified applications' configured in Leopard's security system preference pane).

Any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!
