Does anyone out there use iWeb for your blog? (Or even for your web-sites?)
I'm dorking with it. Just wondering how it's working out for the rest of you.

I used it briefly, but wanted to not be limited to some things that required .mac, so I went with Rapidweaver instead.

I started blogging with it, but as I added more and more content, it kept timing out as it uploaded the full site everytime. I cancelled my .mac account and bought a domain and use wordpress now. I have been using Marsedit & ecto as my desktop blogging tools.

I've noticed that many folks seem to prefer Wordpress over Blogger. Is there a reason?
One of the reasons that I had liked Blogger .. and to a lesser extent iWeb because of the AdSense integration. However now that Adsense has banned me I guess it doesn't matter any more. :-(

I never even considered Blogger, as I don't think you can do self-hosting with it. Wordpress has great forums, tons of the themes, and is fairly easy to install and upgrade. If you plan on ever getting your own domain, then go with Wordpress now and get used to the interface. 2.5 just came out, and it is quite nice. The tag support is greatly improved.

You can do self-hosting with Blogger. I did that for years with my own domain, but finally switched to their interface because it was a LOT faster.
Can WordPress import 3 years worth of blog entries from Blogger? (I'll look myself later, but if anyone knows or has any experience with it please let me know.)
Also: Does anyone recommend any click-ad or affiliate programs other than Adsense?

I don't get iWeb. I don't understand why it takes so long to login and post a blog and then upload. I gave up on it and used Blogger instead.
