Yeah..
I just purchased the DVD from Blockbuster.. get home.. tried to find the Alternative Ending through the Menu System.. and couldn't (Everything Else is there and Works). Then I read the back of the box... it says "DVD-ROM* PC Weblink to Intense Bonus Material Databank Chronicling the Movie's Creation and Exploring the History and Current Status of Life-Threatening Viral Infections" Low and behold that's where the Alternate Ending is! The only problem is that you can't get the "Data Link" to work on a MAC!!!!!! Such a Disappointment. We need to petition the movie industry to release DVD's that will also work on the MAC!

Try using VLC or using it to dig through the DVD's folders for the raw video files themselves.

I plan on buying this on Blu-Ray. I hope the alternate ending is accessible through the disc's menus. I don't want to have to run it on a PC. Yuck. Especially since I have no PC with a BD drive.

The DVD we bought was theatrical release on one and alternative theatrical release on the second disk. There were significant differences in Act 3, but nothing on the menu to indicate which scenes were different, etc.

The Bonus electronic copy is Windows only, as it was with Die Hard IV. Oh well.
He can be fixed -- you can't.
