Can someone fill me in on how I can batch convert Word Documents (.doc & .docx) into PDF files?
Is this something that Automator can do? If so, can someone spell out the exact steps I would use? Are there any third-party Automator Actions that would need to be downloaded, or is everything I would need included with Automator?
Is there a (free) third-party application that might be able to assist me with this task?
Obviously I'm aware that Word Documents can be converted to PDF via OS X's Print Dialog, but that can't batch process over 1,000 Word Documents all at once...
FYI: I am using an Intel MacPro running Mac OS X 10.5.2, and I have Adobe Acrobat 8.5.2 Professional installed on my machine...(just thought that would be worth pointing out...)
