Hi,

Say you take a forum window here at macnn and make it smaller the contents auto-fit. If you run over to macrumors.org the central blog area also does this, leaving the outside columns static. Does iweb 08 provide this functionality? Or is it easy to go into the code generated by iweb and add this?

I have iweb 06 and it doesn't seem to account for this. It does however do everything else I want.

All the best,

pea.

What is your page layout like? It's pretty much a matter of using percentages or absolute values to set the width of the elements on the page.

Let's say you set a picture or a table to use 70% of the screen. Whenever you resize the window, it will take up 70% of that new window. However, if you fix it at 70px, it will remain 70px wide however large the window is.

I code my sites by hand so I don't know how iWeb works but you can have a look at the code, figure out which element it is you want to modify.

The code you will have to add/change will look like
<tr style="width: 50%;">
or <tr width="50%">
