I have Firefox 2.0.0.13 and iTunes 7.5 and I got a link from an Apple Music newsletter that was supposed to open iTunes via Firefox. It normally did this pretty easily when I had an earlier version of Firefox, but this time when I clicked the link, Firefox sent me a message saying

"Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (itms) isn't associated with any program."

I was wondering if there was a way to associate the link with iTunes or if there was another solution. Thanks in advance

Your iTunes is out of date. Why not update to 7.6.1. This may fix the issue.

If not get MisFox and manually set the protocol helper for itms to iTunes.
