Transmit no longer will allow me to connect to any of my servers. I keep receiving the same error message:

'Could not connect to server... Connection timed out or server hung up.'

I downloaded and installed Little Snitch today to try it out. (I've since uninstalled it.) Is it possible that a setting got switched around or something?

(Please move this - I thought I was in Applications - sorry!)

Can you use another FTP app? It's possible Little Snitch may have messed with something, but I don't think it's hard coded into the OS.

The problem is not with Transmit. I just received an email from my hosting provider that ruled out any problems with the server. They suggested that it was issues with port 21 VIA the connection between my ISP and the data center where my server is located.

I've contact my ISP with that information and am waiting on a response. The weird thing is that I am able to connect to all my other servers VIA and FTP session (using Transmit). I just can't connect to one in particular. This is all "Greek" to me. . .

Just open Little Snitch Configuration.app and set it to allow Transmit any connection (if it is not yet that way) so you can check if this was a Little Snitch issue…
