I've been putting together a simple workflow that places files (on my Desktop) to a corresponding subfolder that matches their file type. I used the "Find Finder Items" and set the Extension to the correct extension that I need and then used the "Move Finder Items" and picked the subfolder. I have no problem when I am just using one extension, but when I use more than one extension, Automator places them all in the same subfolder. And to be more clear, I make a new "Find Finder Items" action and a new "Move Finder Items" action each time I use a different file extension. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mason

I can't help with the Automator programming.

However, have a look at Hazel.

It saved my tons of time and headache.
You culd create a drop folder that would automatically sort things through Hazel.

Thanks for the suggestion. It's still a shame I can't get this Automator workflow to work.
