I just bought a ViewSonic Monitor. Spent a LONG time with their Tech guys trying to get the built-in Cam to work. No luck. But a Supervisor said he "had seen a 3rd party app used on a Mac to drive the Cam. I've never used one. Will iSight solve the problem? (It doesn't seem to be on my drive -- just an 12/05 Updater).
I need help! Thanks!

Thanks 4 advice, unfortunately Cam doesn't appear on their Supported List. Other suggestions?
BTW, Beer is "free" in Hong Kong -- i.e. "You don't buy beer you only rent it"?

Try installing Macam anyway, it may surprise you! If it doesn't work, then no harm done.

I agree with seanc, give macam a try first as it supports the most webcams by far. I assume your ViewSonic has a DVI connector or VGA connector and a USB cable which your plugging in to drive the webcam?

It would, but they are not sold any more. You would have to find a used one on eBay.
