No Audio From YouTube or Hulu.com but iTunes & QT are Unaffected

Not sure where else to turn. I have exhausted the advice/support page on Hulu. Hulu - Support

By the way Hulu.com is a kick ass site for archived TV shows and films.

But I can't figure it out.

G-5 PowerPC
OS X 10.3.9
Flash 9.0.124.0
1.25 Gb RAM

I am almost maxxed out on my HD (less than 3 GB remaining).

iTunes and Quicktime work. But Rhapsody, Youtube and Hulu do not. I see images perfectly. But there is zero sound.

What to do???

Does this trick help?

Open “Audio MIDI Setup” (/Applications/Utilities/), then check the “Audio Output” setting.
Change the “Audio Output” setting to 44100.0 Hz.
Quit Audio MIDI Setup.
