does anyone know how you open gifs in pe6 for the mac that show the layers ?

so far all my animations show the first layer and that's all

Nope, PS places each frame of animated GIF in a different layer (from what I've been told). Didn't see anything in PSE6 or Bridge.

i used to use pe2 before upgrading to leopard

pe2 was excellent - easy to use and gave exc results

pe6 is just awful in comparison - plus it crashes every 5 minutes too - and as for the windows looking front end..

i've tried opening loads of animated gifs but it just doesn't work

the posters at adobe's forums weren't very helpful - in fact they were very condescending
