I am using Apple Mail, 2.1.2. I have 2 email addresses, A & B, in the Inbox. If I highlight Email A and click 'new' a new email window comes up but the sender is shown as Email B. If I highlight Email B and click 'new' a new email window comes up and the sender is shown as Email B.

How do I get Email A to show the sender as Email A for the default. Until the last day or so when I used Email A the sender would automatically be Email A but now it defaults to Email B as the sender unless I change it manually.

How do I get the sender for Email A to default to Email A.

Thanks,

That was happening to me but the problem fixed itself. Pretty annoying. I think I may have just quit Mail and reopened it a couple of times. I don't know how Mail picks a default.

Kind of weird but now it has fixed itself. I think the problem might have been that I dragged mail from Email B to the Email A Inbox. Since that was the first email shown for Email A whenever I attempted to send an email it seems to have picked up on the Email B being in Email A Inbox.
