I'm looking for a FREE program that will let me extract the audio portion from some QT mov. files. Does any one have any that would do the trick? My end goal is to extract the audio from some videos of my band and burn them to CD using iTunes. My videos are all on Youtube, but our singer doesn't have internet and our drummer is on......dial-up!
I used iMovie to convert (and edit) the videos (originally AVI) and expoted them as QT mov. files. However, I don't think I have anything that will let me dissect the videos.
Any help is always appreciated. Btw, I am using the alum. iMac w/o Leopard.

Thank you analogika for the fast and extremely helpful info. I completely forgot Garageband was so versatile. (I guess that's why you got all those little stars under your name, eh!)
