I'm just about to go insane.

The other day I set up a document with two sections. One section has page numbers in the footer, the other does not.

Now, for the life of me, I cannot replicate this. Does anyone know how to do this?

I don't think that's what the OP means- that will let him set up a left and right page difference - IIRC, each section can have it's own prefs - you just need to click on each one and set them.

I think what you may want to do is uncheck "Use previous headers & footers." The footers in one section won't be the same as those in another section then.

That will only work if you *don't* "continue from previous section", though, right?

Uncheck "Use previous headers & footers" at the beginning of the section where you want different (or no) footers and change the footer there.

God, there it is! I swear I looked through those menus a thousand times and somehow never did see it!

Thanks. Don't you hate when you forget how to do something simple like that? Geesh. Well, appreciate the help.
